The CommScope 2153365-8 SLX Series RJ45 Cat6A Shielded Modular Jack with Dust Cover (Yellow) is a high-performance networking solution designed for enterprise, commercial, and data center structured cabling installations. Engineered to support Category 6A performance standards, this shielded modular jack delivers reliable high-speed data transmission while minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk.
Featuring a durable hinged integrated dust cover, the jack protects contacts from dust and contaminants, ensuring long-term network reliability. It supports both solid and stranded conductors and is compatible with 22–26 AWG cables, making installation flexible and efficient. The jack terminates using IDC technology and is designed for use with CommScope SL Series faceplates and panels.
Built to meet ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA standards, the SLX Series modular jack fully supports IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE applications up to 90W, making it ideal for powering IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled devices. Gold-plated contacts, robust shielding, and superior mechanical durability ensure consistent performance even in demanding network environments.
